Stock Investing For Dummies ReviewFinancial independence is something we all strive towards. After all, it’s a pretty integral part of the American dream. Achieving it isn’t impossible with the right tools and the stock market is a great place of doing so. But who wants to pay thousands of dollars to someone else to handle your own money? If you want to become your own investor the first thing to do is to buy a book. Learn about what you will be dealing with. We will review several popular books that will help you in learning how to be your own investor. Read on for the book reviews.

Stock Investing For Dummies by Paul Mladjenovic
I thought that this book was very simple, too simple, almost to the point of being useless. It has all the basic stuff but it just seems simple and very basic. I think one needs more including the do’s and dont’s including some guidance or the investor could lose a lot of money - and quickly. I would recommend this book to people who have never even heard of the stock market in the first place. Anyone else could go with something more advanced and comprehensive.

The Neatest Little Guide to Stock Market Investing by Jason Kelly
The Neatest Little Guide to Stock Market Investing Review This book offers interviews and advice from such so-called experts as Gary Pilgrim, the PBHG Funds manager who now faces criminal charges for ripping off his shareholders and resigned in disgrace earlier this year. Kelly says he “admires” Pilgrim. The book is full of outdated advice, despite the “2004 Edition” on the cover.

As with most investment books, makes it seem like investing in the stock market is as easy as baking a cake. This just isn’t true. The markets, in general, go up or sideways two-thirds of the time, and go down one-third of the time. Unfortunately, they go down in value much faster and more dramatically than they go up, so watching out for the downturns is just as important as trying to ‘pick’ the winners in a bull market.

Secrets of Successful Traders
Secrets of Successful Traders Review If you’re looking on being your own investor, I would say look no further than this book. This book takes the cake for the best stock market book I’ve ever read. It does not talk about a whole lot of technical mumbo jumbo like the other books. Instead it gives a very easy and straightforward method of trading stocks that actually makes sense. With a starting capital as low as $1,000 you can be looking forward to converting that into millions within a few years. I heard about this from my friend who bought the book and recommended that I read it as well. I don’t want to ruin the surprise, but you can read the first couple pages of the book here which will explain it better than I could.
